The Start-up Week is for 13-18 year olds and run in The Hive Youth Zone across the half-term break - Monday 16th - Friday 20th February. The Start-up Week runs a range of activities to help you learn entrepreneurial skills and x5 participants are even going to win a £100 grant to start-up with!
FREE refreshments and snacks are provided each day for ALL participants - a Graduation Party with Certificates and more refreshments and snacks and PIZZA is also going to be provided on the Friday!
Non-members also receive a FREE Youth Zone Membership.
No dress code - normal half-term casuals are good.

Monday 16th February
11am-12pm: Start-up Week - Introduction
1-3pm: Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Tuesday 17th February
10am-12pm: Birkenhead Venture Crawl
1-3pm: Local Entrepreneurs Challenge
Wednesday 18th February
10am-12pm: Starting-up in Podcasting
1-2pm: Kids Interview Entrepreneurs podcast
Thursday 19th February
10.30am-12pm: Start-up School
1-2.30pm: Start-up School
Friday 20th February
10am-12pm: Enterprise Competition: Preparation
1-3pm: Enterprise Competition: Pitches and Start-up Week Graduation
We recognise that some individuals are not going to be able to go to all sessions - because they’ve got other bits planned/booked in for the half-term and that is fine.
About the Start-up Week:
The Start-up Week is a collaboration between the University of Liverpool Management School and The Hive Youth Zone - as is part of the Brett Centre for Entrepreneurship's Enterprise Education in Secondary Schools programme.
Thanks to Paul Brett as well as Sir Peter Rigby and Bill Holroyd for the generosity - to fund the entrepreneurial educational initiatives for young people in the Liverpool City Region.
