What Would You Change for Young People in Wirral?

wirral youth alliance

If you could change one thing for young people in Wirral, what would it be?

More places to go? Better activities? Somewhere safe to spend time with friends? More support when things are difficult?

The Wirral Youth Survey 2026 is your chance to share what you think.

We Still Want to Hear From You

Young people aged 11 and over are being asked to share their views about what it is like growing up and living in Wirral.

Maybe you have already heard about the survey but have not completed it yet. There is still time to get involved and have your say.

You do not need to be part of a youth club or group. You do not need to know lots about local services.

You just need to tell us what you think.

What Is Good About Your Area?

There might already be things you enjoy about living in Wirral.

Think about:

  • Places you like to go

  • Activities you enjoy

  • Sports, gaming or creative activities

  • Youth clubs and groups

  • Parks and outdoor spaces

  • Support available to young people

The survey is not only about what needs to change. It is also a chance to say what is already working well.

What Could Be Better?

This is also your opportunity to be open about the things you think are missing.

Maybe there are not enough activities near you.

Maybe getting to activities is difficult.

Maybe you want more places where you can safely meet your friends.

Maybe there is a type of support you think young people need more of.

Whatever your experience is, we want to hear it.

Your Experience Matters

You might think other young people will have better ideas or that your answer will not make much difference.

But there is no right or wrong answer.

The survey is about your experience.

When lots of young people complete it, their answers can help build a clearer picture of what young people across Wirral want and need.

That information can help people who plan services think about activities, opportunities and support for young people.

You Do Not Have to Agree With Everyone Else

Having your say does not mean saying what you think adults want to hear.

If you love something about your area, say it.

If you think something needs to improve, say that too.

Young people have different lives, interests and experiences. Hearing different opinions is an important part of making sure young people's voices are included.

Have Your Say

If you are aged 11 or over, take part in the Wirral Youth Survey 2026.

Think about what you enjoy, what you would change and what could make Wirral an even better place for young people.

Your answer is one voice.

Together, young people's voices can send a powerful message.

Have your say and help shape what comes next.
