Today is International Youth Day!

So today we ‘The Liverpool City Youth Combined Authority’ are announcing the chance for young people aged 11-19yrs (up to 25yrs for SEND/ND/CIC/Social Worker Engaged) to apply and take part in ‘THE NEXT WAVE’ event on Saturday the 20th of September. From 10am - 2pm at Mann Island. Where Young people from across the Liverpool City Region young will come together to debate and discuss local youth ideas and issues.

The basis of the motions will be - Culture, Economic Wellbeing, Transport, Employment & Skills, and the Environment. Adding the theme for 2025 International Youth Day “Local Youth Actions for the Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond" with HUB2030 to the motions.

These discussions and debates will be listened to by relevant adults. This event is open to any young person across the LCR regardless of ability, race, culture, language, educational level, genders, background, or skills.

You do NOT have to belong to a group to apply.

You do NOT have to have any previous experience of this type of event.

There are limited places so apply as soon as is possible! (We will discuss on contact, if any bigger groups want to apply.)

 

We - the ‘Liverpool City Youth Combined Authority’ will be present at the event to support you and make sure you feel welcomed and able to Join in. Fill in the attached form to get your place!
