Could you lead Wirral’s Young Person Forum?

The Local Area SEND Partnership are looking for a young person to lead a new Young Persons Forum in Wirral. This forum will help make changes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

What is the role?

You will be Chair of the Young Persons Forum. The forum will share ideas and feedback with the Local Area SEND Partnership Board. Your voice will help shape services for children and young people with SEND.

What do we need from you?

Passion and commitment

Drive and energy

A champion of other SEND young people

8 hours per month

What will you get?

A chance to lead the forum and make real changes.

Coaching and support to help you in the role.

Skills in speaking up, leading meetings and working with others.

Links with senior leaders in Education, Health and Social Care

Experience that looks good on your CV.

You will recieve a monthly expense of £150 to cover your time and travel costs.

The role starts late in Janurary 2026.
