Zine Collective

  • Make Hamilton - Comics Youth CIC 69-71 Argyle Street Birkenhead, England, CH41 6LQ United Kingdom (map)

Come join our Zine Collective over at Comics Youth!

We have weekly hybrid sessions, where you'll learn about zines, and the process of grassroots publishing. Every 6 months, we’ll work together to create a collective zine that is all led by the Zine Collective! So the content, design, and art direction is all decided by you!

This project is for marginalised young people aged 13-25 years. This includes, but isn’t limited to, people who are LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, who have lived care experience, experience mental health challenges, and or from a working-class background.

The collective meets every week in person and online on:
- Wednesdays at 4.30-6.30 for 18-25 year olds.
- Fridays at 4.30-6.30pm for 13-17 year olds

You need no prior skills of experience to join, just interest and a desire to learn! It’s important to state too that they don’t have to be a confident artist – There's lots of ways to create and publish zines that aren’t arts focused!
