Comics Youth is launching Comics Declassified, a 10-month hybrid training and development programme that will empower early-career and marginalised comics creators aged 16-30.
Comics Declassified offers monthly in-person group sessions + online Masterclasses with industry experts + hybrid 1-2-1 mentoring, focusing on different career paths within the comics industry. We make professional skills uncomplicated. The monthly topics focus on writing, illustration or publishing. Here are some of the topics:
Editing in comics; Colouring and inking; Comics conventions; Understanding contracts and rights; Webcomics; Writing and drawing for Kids comics; and many more.
